On December 13, 2018, Professor Jinde Cao (Fellow of IEEE, Member of Academia Europaea and Fellow of Pakistan Academy of Sciences), the Dean of School of Mathematics at Southeast University, was appointed as Honorary Professor of Hefei University. The Vice President Professor Xiu Chen awarded the Honorary Professor's certification of appointment to Professor Cao.
After the appointment ceremony, Professor Cao described his good impression of Hefei University and said that there will be a bright future for the cooperation between these two universities. After that Professor Cao gave a wonderful research presentation.
