Professor Jinde Cao, Dean of the School of Mathematics of Southeast University, was elected a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Engineering during the general meeting of the Academy on 19 November 2020 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of applied mathematics, engineering science and promoting modern technological innovations.
Professor Cao is also a member of the Academy of Europe, a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a foreign fellow of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences, a foreign fellow of the African Academy of Sciences，a foreign member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, an IASCYS academician, and a full member of Sigma Xi.
