Breaz et al [LAA, 2013] on nil-clean matrix rings, we determine the division rings $D$ such that every matrix in the matrix ring $M_n(D)$ is the sum of an idempotent matrix and a nilpotent matrix. I will explain the proof of this result and its consequences. |
